Leadership Essentials Programme
This programme is open to anyone who feels they could benefit. For example, an organisation may only have one or two people they wish to nominate, or a manager may choose to invest in themselves. We want to make our support accessible to a wide range of companies and people.
Participants often find themselves falling into one of the four descriptions below. The material meets you where you are at, whatever your management role, whether that may be the CEO of a local charity, an MD of an SME, a newly appointed manager in any size business, or a manager within a large organisation who wants to develop their skills.
Participants get great benefit from working with other managers from different sectors, as well as the programme content.

CLIENT RECOMMENDATIONS
Julie Kitchener, Head of Customer Service & Marketing
“…extremely insightful. It really helped me learn new skills, not only to deal with my own team but also using different approaches when dealing with people across the whole business. Alison has the best training style I have experienced, she has a way of getting you to really think and open up…I can’t recommend this training enough.”
Ryan Powell-Cullingford, Financial Controller
“Would thoroughly recommend – fun, engaging and dynamic sessions…in the safe space created, we were able to…explore opportunities to evaluate ourselves and each others’ strengths and weaknesses, using real life experiences and examples to provide application for our learning.”
Chris Whyley, Director
“I had the pleasure of participating in Alison’s “Leadership Essentials Programme” this year and can highly recommend it. Alison has put together an engaging and helpful course, covering a wide variety of topics designed to create more capable and well rounded leaders.
The programmer offers a good mix of teaching, Q&A and practical assignments. Alison is a natural teacher, helping to unpack challenging concepts in a way that is easy to grasp. The emphasis on real world scenarios makes it highly relevant to the challenges we all face in our businesses, whether we are leading small or big teams.
As a bonus you also get to meet and learn from a bunch of other interesting folks on the journey too!”
Georgette Wade Gould, Operations Manager
“I really enjoyed the sessions, especially working alongside all non NHS people. That is a first for me and it helped seeing what happens in the outside world. Good to have a mix of industries.
I liked the organisation of the course – prep and information in advance with detailed instructions prior to sessions.”
Alice Jones, Regional Manager
“Alison you are fantastic! I love that Arena use you for our training and you offer such a supporting and open atmosphere in all of the sessions. It was really great to hear about other people’s positions and how they have overcome obstacles as it can spark solutions that I never would have thought of on my own. You have provided some fantastic material and being able to use the skills during the sessions, whether that was role playing or in the break out rooms, gave me the confidence to put it into practise in my job role.”
